DO’s (Best Practices)

  1. Use Only Official Platforms:

  2. Check Payment Details Carefully:

    • Double-check account number, UPI ID, or QR code before paying any fees.

    • Ask for a receipt or confirmation message immediately after payment.

  3. Keep Your Login Details Private:

    • Never share your username, password, OTP, or login credentials with anyone.

    • Change your password regularly.

  4. Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA):

    • Use two-factor authentication on your email and college portal login wherever possible.

  5. Use Secure Internet Connections:

    • Always access college services using a private, secure Wi-Fi network. Avoid public Wi-Fi for transactions.

  6. Keep Devices Updated:

    • Regularly update your phone and laptop software and antivirus programs.

  7. Report Suspicious Activity Immediately:

    • Inform the college office if you receive suspicious messages or payment requests claiming to be from the college.

DON’Ts (Things to Avoid)

  1. Never Pay Fees to Personal Accounts:

    • College will never ask you to pay to any personal UPI ID, WhatsApp number, or unofficial link.

  2. Don’t Click on Unknown Links:

    • Avoid clicking on links from unknown emails, messages, or social media accounts.

  3. Don’t Share Screenshots of Transactions Publicly:

    • Sharing transaction details on social media or WhatsApp groups may lead to data misuse.

  4. Don’t Ignore Browser Warnings:

    • If your browser warns a site is unsafe or not secure (shows a red padlock or warning), do not proceed.

📞 If You Face Any Problem

Immediately contact the College Office or designated staff member if:

  • You made a wrong payment

  • Received a fake payment request

  • Your college login was hacked
